What ports are used with Digi's Device Discovery protocols (ADDP and mDNS)?

Portserver TS, ConnectPort (LTS, TS, X#), Digi One, and Digi Connect SP devices use ADDP protocol, which uses UDP broadcast on port 2362, and a mulicast ip address of 224.0.5.128.   The Digi Device Discovery Utility was commonly used to discover these devices on a Local Area Network.

Digi Navigator supports discovery of all ADDP devices (as listed above) AND also supports discovery of the Digi Connect EZ and  AnywhereUSB Plus line of products, which  use Service Discover (mDNS) protocol (instead of ADDP), which does a UDP broadcast on port 5353 to discover devices.

If unable to discover your Digi device listed above on your local network, you'll want to enable the port listed for your device type, on your local environment firewall (examples: Windows Defender, Windows Firewall, Firewalls built into various Anti-virus monitoring utilities.
