SHI International Named Elite Partner of Year; Connection and World Wide Technologies Also Earn Honors for Excellence
EDISON, N.J., April 1, 2021 – Opengear, a Digi International company, and a leading provider of solutions that deliver secure, resilient network access and automation to critical IT infrastructure, recently wrapped up its Opengear ‘Resilient Together’ virtual summit for its Americas partner community.
Throughout the event, Opengear underscored its strong 2021 vision for secure, network resilience solutions that leverage its acclaimed Smart Out-of-Band management. Already, more than 75% of Fortune 100 companies have turned to Opengear for these solutions, and the partner channel has played an important role in that success.
The summit solidified the company’s commitment to fostering channel relationships and providing the tools and resources channel partners need to grow their business.
The summit featured presentations from members of the Opengear leadership team, including Director of Channel Sales, Bryan Keepers. “Opengear was very fortunate to complete a strong year in 2020, despite the extraordinary challenges and barriers that the COVID-19 pandemic presented,” said Keepers. “We grew nearly 30% over 2019, and that was due to an unbeatable combination of innovative products and great partners. The ‘Resilient Together’ event celebrated that.”
Other highlights from the event were discussions regarding Opengear’s new technical training program and new NetOps Console Servers. During the highly anticipated awards portion of the Summit, SHI International was named Elite Partner of the Year. “We are excited to be named Partner of the Year,” said Dave Baum, Senior Manager of Presales Networking for SHI. “We both worked hand-in-hand to exponentially grow the business this year. The great thing about the Opengear team is that they’re committed to providing the support needed for continued success.”
Connection was named as Premier Partner of the Year, and the Catalyst Award was presented to World Wide Technology.
Channel teams require new tools and training to better understand the challenges and requirements of each individual deployment. The summit showed that Opengear and the partners are ‘Resilient Together,’ prepared to face the network challenges of tomorrow.
