Remote Manager uses tags to categorize devices.  You may want to edit the tags associated with a device if the purpose of a device changes or if you use tags to create a new sub-category of devices. Device tags are stored in Remote manager and not on the device. 
			  
			To add a tag to a device:
			
				- Click Devices.
 
				- Select the device you want to update.
 
				- Click Actions > Manage Tags. The Manage Tags dialog appears.
 
				- Enter the name of a tag in the text box and click Add Tag.
 
				- Click Apply. The new tag is associated with the device.
 
			 
			  
			To remove a tag from a device:
			
				- Click Devices.
 
				- Select the device you want to update.
 
				- Click More > Manage Tags. The Manage Tags dialog appears.
 
				- Click the X next to the tag name.
 
				- Click Apply. The tag is no longer associated with the device.
