In some cases, while using Digi X-Trak 3 with firmware version 2.2.1.0, it can hang or continuously reboots and becomes inaccessible by Digi Dashboard Utility. In those cases we need to check the following steps:
Case 1:
Digi X-Trak 3 is not responding to Digi Dashboard Utility through Digi Dashboard and on Device following LED indications are being seen.
Ø GPS: OFF
Ø POWER : Glow GREEN or RED
Ø GSM: Blinking Blue
In above case, Digi X-Trak 3 has got hung at the start up due to i2c failure. In this case manual reboot of Digi X-Trak 3 is required.
The following steps are required to perform the manual reboot of Digi X-Trak 3.
Ø Remove Interface Cable
Ø Remove back cover of Digi X-Trak 3.
Ø Remove Battery and insert it again.
Ø And now insert the Interface Cable to power on Digi X-Trak 3.
Case 2:
Digi X-Trak 3 is not communicating through Digi Dashboard and rebooting continuously.
In this case the firmware loaded on the Digi X-Trak 3 is not starting up due to partition issue.
To resolve this issue following commands need to be sent using Hyper Terminal at 115200 baud rate. (Note: Enter the Next Command if response after sending ‘AT’ comes ‘OK’)

Ø AT
Ø AT+WOPEN=3
